Preamble

  5 Pillars of the Catholic Divine Project. Annual Orientation Course for Step 1 induction of new members into the Catholic Divine Project. These course are outlined as below: 1. Fasting. Being one out of the five pillars of the Catholic Divine Project is abstinence from food, drink 🍸, pleasure and other interesting practices. This is strongly recommended for every intending member of the CDP for spiritual, physical, mental and all round development of the person which God requires to belong in this partnership. 2. Mantra: A mantra is usually any repeated word or phrase, but it can also refer more specifically to a word repeated in meditation. This is used daily by the Project to preserve the strength 💪 received from divinity from the exercise of fasting and other obligatory practices. 3. Period of Silence: This is usually a period of keeping quiet and quieting the body, it's organs, senses, systems and muscles; the soul - feeling, imagination and memory; Spirit - Heart ❤, brain ...

Course 2 Topic 1 Before the definition of silence and periods of Silence I would like to let us know that periods of Silence is one of the pillars of the Catholic divine Project. Now the definition. Definition of period of silence: A long period spent listening to language and not saying anything. Or,prohibit or prevent someone from speaking. Silence is also called, quietness, calmness, still, noiselessness, uncommunicativeness, peace and speechlessness.

Course 2 Topic 2 Types of silence Social types of silence or examples of silence 1. Danger:   In nature predators use silence to sneak up on prey.prey use silence to try to detect predators. This may help to explain why people are often uncomfortable with silence as it may invoke instincts related to danger. 2. Turn taking:    In communication, silence is a commonly used to prompt a response from the other side. This can apply to both verbal communication and text based communication such as emails. 3. Signaling displeasure:      Silence is often used to communicate negative emotion such as disappointment or anger. This may be extended for a long period of time as a form of admonishment. In English, this is know by the idiomatic expression"silent treatment." 4. Active silence:     Active silence is the strategic use of silence in communication. Course 2 Topic 3 PURPOSE AND BENEFIT OF SILENCE 1. Silence Helps You Concentrate One of the major reasons why silence has become an important part of everyday life is the ability to focus as the modern world and its various noises enter your brain all at once. The ability to focus on different tasks is often accompanied by a little background noise. Focus is almost always lost when a sound reaches around 80 decibels. A silent environment or one with just a little background noise will help you concentrate the best. 2. Silence and Creativity Without a doubt, creativity is an important part of life, and silence is an important part of the creative process. Some studies have shown how important silence is to the success of individuals as they move through the creative process.
