 *COURSE 2:* 👉🏼 *SILENCE* *ANALYSIS AND SUMMARY:* Silence is a moment/period when the body's organs for vocal communications are kept still for some higher reasons. Silence is one of the pillars of the Catholic Divine Project. There are many types of silence, but the Catholic Divine Project summarised all of them into three, namely: 👉🏼1. Silence of the heart. 👉🏼2. Silence of the muscle. 👉🏼3. Silence of the lips. Silence can be beneficial in many ways which include: 1. Helps one to concentrate. 2. Helps one to be creative. 3. Helps one to achieve awareness. 4. It helps one to attain some level of calmness. 5. Helps to improve one's learning capacity. 6. Helps one to be productive. 7. It helps one develop patience.  Course 2 Topic 6  Biblical Power Of Silence 1. Ecclesiastes 9:17 The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. 2. Ecclesiastes 3:7-8 a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak;  a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.  CDP Usage of silence Every member of the Catholic Divine Project maintains at least 34 minutes of silence everyday while those in higher level (BDC) go with 64 minutes of silence everyday. These silence 🔕 are distributed into various hours of prayers during the day. More of this will be discussed during the teaching on prayer. "Silence" in spirituality is often a metaphor for inner stillness. A silent mind, freed from the onslaught of thoughts and thought patterns, is both a goal and an important step in spiritual development. Such "inner silence" is not about the absence of sound; instead, it is understood to bring one in contact with the divine, the ultimate reality, or one's own true self, one's divine nature.   5 Pillars of the Catholic Divine Project. Annual Orientation Course for Step 1 induction of new members into the Catholic Divine Project. These course are outlined as below: 1. Fasting. Being one out of the five pillars of the Catholic Divine Project is abstinence from food, drink 🍸, pleasure and other interesting practices. This is strongly recommended for every intending member of the CDP for spiritual, physical, mental and all round development of the person which God requires to belong in this partnership. 2. Mantra: A mantra is usually any repeated word or phrase, but it can also refer more specifically to a word repeated in meditation. This is used daily by the Project to preserve the strength 💪 received from divinity from the exercise of fasting and other obligatory practices. 3. Course 2 Topic 1 Before the definition of silence and periods of Silence I would like to let us know that periods of Silence is one of the pillars of the Catholic divine Project. Now the definition. Definition of period of silence: A long period spent listening to language and not saying anything. Or,prohibit or prevent someone from speaking. Silence is also called, quietness, calmness, still, noiselessness, uncommunicativeness, peace and speechlessness.

Course 2 Topic 2 Types of silence Social types of silence or examples of silence 1. Danger:   In nature predators use silence to sneak up on prey.prey use silence to try to detect predators. This may help to explain why people are often uncomfortable with silence as it may invoke instincts related to danger. 2. Turn taking:    In communication, silence is a commonly used to prompt a response from the other side. This can apply to both verbal communication and text based communication such as emails. 3. Signaling displeasure:      Silence is often used to communicate negative emotion such as disappointment or anger. This may be extended for a long period of time as a form of admonishment. In English, this is know by the idiomatic expression"silent treatment." 4. Active silence:     Active silence is the strategic use of silence in communication.
