 CDP Usage of silence




Every member of the Catholic Divine Project maintains at least 34 minutes of silence everyday while those in higher level (BDC) go with 64 minutes of silence everyday. These silence 🔕 are distributed into various hours of prayers during the day. More of this will be discussed during the teaching on prayer.




"Silence" in spirituality is often a metaphor for inner stillness. A silent mind, freed from the onslaught of thoughts and thought patterns, is both a goal and an important step in spiritual development. Such "inner silence" is not about the absence of sound; instead, it is understood to bring one in contact with the divine, the ultimate reality, or one's own true self, one's divine nature. Many religious traditions imply the importance of being quiet and still in mind and spirit for transformative and integral spiritual growth to occur. In CDP, there is the silence of contemplative prayer such as centering prayer and Christian meditation- 1 minute silence during watch Guard 💂‍♂️ hour (Watch Guard Chaplet); 30 minutes during squad meditation and ; as the case maybe, 30 minutes during BDC prayer for members of the highest level.

19 Reasons Why We Celebrate World Day of Silence.


1. God created the universe in silence.


2. He watches over us in silence.


3. When we depart from his presence he waits for us in silence.


4. When we return to him he welcomes us in silence.


5. He Forgives us in silence. 


6. He admonishes us in silence.


7. When you pray he listens to us in silence.


8. He reunites us to himself in silence in reconciliation 


9. When the enemy attacks us he fights our battle in silence.


10. He redeems us in silence.


11. His Son Jesus Christ bears our Burden and suffered for us in silence.


12. He died for us in silence.


13. Jesus reconciled us to God in silence.


14. He resurrected in silence.


15. He ascended into heaven in silence.


16. God rules and controls the universe in silence.


17. He blesses the world in silence.


18. His Son's Foster Father Saint Joseph and His Mother Mary Conquered the world in silence.


19. Speech they say is silver but Silence is gold. We shall conquer the world as Joseph and Mary and the entire Holy Family did with silence let us celebrate silence for the power of Silence can never be overemphasized.

1. March 10- March 18 - Power 🔋 💪 of Silence 🔕 Novena. 


2. November 13 - November 18: In the midst Great Expectation Novenas.


3. Personal Daily Moment of Silence is also recommended for every member of the project in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

Course 2 Summary and analysis

 *COURSE 2:* 👉🏼 *SILENCE* *ANALYSIS AND SUMMARY:* Silence is a moment/period when the body's organs for vocal communications are kept still for some higher reasons. Silence is one of the pillars of the Catholic Divine Project. There are many types of silence, but the Catholic Divine Project summarised all of them into three, namely: 👉🏼1.
